Divided into three sections, but is one tile -- depicting the three Theological virtues, Faith, Charity and Hope after the painting by Del Sarto. J. This item is ANTIQUE, and has expected wear from display and age, however very little. At the most, there is a little wear to the gilt, and that is primarily at the lower edge where the plate may have rested in a shelf groove.

A chinese (Kangxi) style famille verte vase on a powder blue ground by Samson of Paris. This is a very good copy and convincing until one gets to close quarters. There is an artemesia leaf and Samson factory mark to the base.

Dating from the late C19th., it stands 8 3/8inches (21.8 cm) high.

It is in excellent condition.

Available as a set of 8. Hand Painted by "Eugenia," Souvenir Plates, "The Narbonne" (possibly after the Narbonne House, the 350 year-old House which is part of the National Parks Maritime Service, outside Boston).

The Plates, scenes of a country winter, were likely painted by an artist employed by the Jones, McDuffee & Stratton Corp., Boston, who commissioned the white ware plates from the Jean Pouyat Company, Limoges, France, and were painted around 1906.
