Very nice carving in wood of a winged creature on a narrow base. Overall dimensions are 16" x 7-1/2" x 1" deep. Exact age and origin unknown.

CONDITION: is very good, with evidence of old breaks at the creature's tail, near the area where wing attaches to its tail, and at the base of the end of the tail; a few minor losses on the verso.

This darling little candle is 2 inches tall and the base has a 2 3/4 inch diameter. The handle is riveted to the base. The color is ecru or off white trimmed with gold. It does have some dings which can be seen in the photos. A rare find.

A gorgeous pair of gold gilded English hardwood cornices, mid to late 19th century. It is extremely hard to find a pair of matching antique cornices in such good condition. In very good antique condition, there may be an insignificant small piece missing on either valance. The only restoration we found was to a corner of one of the cornices (see 3rd photo) which appears to have been professionally done...
