This is one of my favorite Schultz pieces. For those who may not know the name, Ron and Ester Schultz scour the country for old unused bakelite rods, and then hand cut, carve, polish, and laminate unusual and beautiful pins, bracelets, etc., so although the piece is not very old, the bakelite material is. This pelican is 3" by 2 1/2" with a two color beak. a multicolored body, black wing and green feet...
This is a fabulous large layered crab brooch by Ron and Ester Schultz. This crabby looking crab is 3" by 2 1/2" with legs and pinchers that are carved and painted, with the large shell applied on top. The brooch is in excellent condition...
This is a brand new Alexis Bittar carved lucite flower brooch. These came in two sizes, and this is the larger one. It is 3" in diameter and there is a large cluster of prong set clear rhinstones sparkling in the middle. The brooch is 3 dimensional sort of layered real flower petals would be. The piece is in perfect condition, has never been worn, and comes with an Alexis Bittar storage bag.
Composed of flattened, interwoven strips of sterling silver and set with an amber in a square bezel mount. The back has a secure rollover clasp and bears a maker’s mark of Strazdins, which could be a jeweler in Wilton, WI. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 ½ inches wide.
This is a brand new, never used Alexis Birtar carved lucite flower brooch. The center is a cluster of sparkling prong set clear rhinestone. The lucite is a beautiful plum color and the pin is about 2 1/4" in each direction. This pin was in the Bittar fall winter collection and sold new in the stores for $295. It sold out and is now difficult to find. Because it has never been worn, it is in new condion, and a striking color. It comes with the usual Alexis Bittar Storage Bag.

The design of this unusual brooch is reminiscent of tribal adornments with different textures, patterns, and even color of the metals. It houses old parts that may have belonged to some other use, but all are either old, tribal, or just old. It is also a dimensional piece with the elements along the centerline raised from the back piece. Stones and beads hang from the middle engraved circle...
