I have taken an Antique Imagerie D'Epinal Paper toy theater sheet. Miniaturized it, hand cut and constructed this Fantastic Paper toy theater set. The set is elaborate, the Devil player sits on a ring of fire which is placed on the open pit to hell, there is also the King and Queen of Hell to watch in their thrones [two sided paper toy actors, with wood support bases]. This set is 5 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide at top of wings, 2 7/8" deep [approx]. It is card stock paper with wood support...
VICTORIAN MINIATURE "CALENDAR OF THE SEASONS" Marcus Ward, 1885. A four-paneled calendar which originally would have been folded but now separated at each fold with each separate card measuring 4 1/4" by 2 5/8". The chromolithographed cards are printed in full colors and gilt. Each card features a portrait miniature of a young girl in a central medallion: 1.) SPRING; 2.) SUMMER; 3.) AUTUMN; 4.) WINTER. AN EARLY L.PRANG CHRISTMAS CARD. 1880. It depicts a small child gazing at some birds on a tree branch from which hangs some Christmas stockings. Captioned: Hang stockings high,/ Christmas is nigh,/ And birds will surely find them./ And when they go/ They will, I know,/Leave many gifts behind them. Measures 5 1/4" by 3 1/4". Here is a "special issue" for the 100th running of the Kentucky Derby. It was produced by 'The Courier-Journal & Times' on April 28, 1974. Contains articles, photographs, and some wonderful old advertisements, especially the big horse farm ads- Calumet, Spendthrift, Claiborne, and C. V. Whitney are all represented. Condition is very good with just some bent and worn edges and corners. This highly collectable bit of Kentucky Derby history measures a generous 13 X 10.5 inches.

This Baptist Missionary Calender for 1933 was printed in Shanghai for the Chinese congragation. January is on the cover page and appears to be lithographed, soft colors and lots of detail. The other pages are printed in black ink with one additional color. It is an interesting piece of Chinese religious history.
There is a spot on the cover page just above the Jan calander month...the spot has bled though to the Feb page and is clearly visable on the pictures. Measures 15 x 9.5 inches
