Vintage red transferware handled serving bowl with lid by Johnson Brothers in the Mill Stream pattern. Both the lid and the inside of the bowl have the mill stream pattern with a lovely border around the lid and bowl. It has nice embossed patterns. It measures 4.5" high to the top of the finial and 10.5" wide from end of handle to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks...
Beautiful and very hard to find vintage Royal Winton chintz 7" plate in the stunning Stratford pattern. It has lovely pink, purple, and yellow tulips on a pale grey background. This is a very fine antique 1897 Mintons Diamond Jubilee Queen Victoria beaker. Made by Mintons for Mortlock's of Oxford St. London to commemorate the diamond jubilee on Queen Victoria in 1897. This beaker features three portraits of the young beautiful queen in 1837, and yet still lovely queen in 1887 and 1897. This beaker does have some wear and is cracked down the back but still in remarkable condition. The piece measures 3 7/8" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"...
One Vogue shape trio comprised of a cup, saucer and plate in the coral blocks motif, made by Shelley China in England in 1930. All three pieces are in mint condition with no damage and no wear on the coral, black and silver trim. The cup measures 2-5/8 inches in height, 4 inches in diameter; the saucer is 5-1/2 inches in diameter and the square plate is just slightly larger.
The complete set includes: a small coffee pot with lid, small cream and sugar, one cup and saucer, a double egg cup, a cereal bowl, a side plate, and a breakfast plate with a muffin cover. The lovely butter yellow set is called "Goldendawn". All pieces are in excellent condition with no damage. Johnson Brothers was an English manufacturer of ceramics for the mid-level market, and used this mark and style for many years in the first half of the 20th century.
Shelley China manufactured this trio in England in 1933, in their Vogue shape decorated with the Blocks motif that had been designed to suit the times. The china public turned thumbs down and this shape was withdrawn from the market quickly so not many pieces are found. The cup measures 3-3/4 inches in diameter and 2-1/2 inches in height, the saucer measures 5 inches in diameter, and the square tea plate measures 6-3/8 inches. All three pieces are in excellent condition with no damage...

A fine quality English bone china 2-1/4" high cup and matching 5-1/2" saucer with hand painted over transfer floral designs by F.A. BAILEY.
