This is a fine pair of Japanese cloisonne vases. They are signed Hayashi Kodenji. The enamel is high gloss and virtually pit free. The vases are fairly stout being just under 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. There are no damages.
The size of Cloisonne Plate: 8 3/8" Dia x 3/4" High. Beautiful Japanese Ando Cloisonne Plate. The plate is done in Musen(wireless) work with Moriage finish. It has wonderful Mountai Fuji design with forms of clouds in half of plate. The clouds as well as some mountain surface are done in Moriage enamel works which give you three dimentional feeling on plate. Ando Cloisonne call this work as "Emaiyu Shippo" which was invented by Ando Cloisonne...

Japanese cloisonne small vase with blooming roses. There is a fully bloomed red rose and a small budding red rose. Along the base, there is a blooming white rose with pink edged petals. The body of the vase is a cool white. Taisho period, early 20th century. It measures 1.75" base diameter, 4" widest, 5" tall. Good condition.

This beautiful plaque bears a finely decorated spray of Orchids reserved on a blue ground, dimensions of plaque 4.375 inches by 9.20 inches, dimensions of frame 12.25 inches by 17.125 inches, in fine condition, some wear on frame, unsigned, made in the late Showa Period c. 1960-70.

A good cloisonne vase depicting Mt. Fuji in clouds using 'musen' (wireless) technique with pleasing affect. The foreground with pagoda in autumnal landscape against mountain and river landscape - the mountains again using wireless technique to suggest fading into the distance, and the river also using 'musen' to suggest the flowing of water. The back of the vase continues the light blue mottled sky. Silver plated rims. Not signed, so we stop short at saying it is Ando school. Excellent condition...
