This thinly potted bowl stands out by its nice decoration, in particular by the delighful represented deer which is part of this decoration. Wonderful deep Cobalt blue.
Ming Dynasty, Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 )
Diameter : 11,1 cm. H: 5,4 cm.
Condition : Perfect. There is a very very minute fritting to the rim which is quite normal for Jiajing pieces but there is no chip and no crack and there is a nice sound when tapped.
A definitely rare and very decorative triod incense censer of the Yuan Dynasty ( 1279 - 1368 ). Well potted Celadon glazed body decorated with a molded decoration.
Diameter : 12,1 cm. H : 5,6 cm.
Condition : There is one old fiering crack to the body which is so extremely fine that it is nearly invisible to the naked eye. Further in an absolutely perfect condition.
This brilliantly enamelled dish belongs to the same kind as the dish listed before ( # 396 ). However, this one is much more thinly potted, and its decoration, with a Phoenix in the center, is executed even more lavishly than on # 396. A very nice and impressive example of a really brilliantly enamelled Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period ( 1723 - 1735 ) Famille Rose ( soft color ) dish.
Diameter : 27,9 cm.
Condition : Perfect with a very nice sound when tapped.
A very richly decorated Famille Noire jar.
( Famille Noire is actually Famille Verte with a black background.) There is not only a pair of peacocks, there are also cranes, ducks and flying birds and a lot of Lotus flowers and plants. Apocryphal underglaze blue Ming mark.
Probably 19th. century or older.
On the base of the jar is an old inventory Number which probably indicates that the piece comes from an old German collection.

Condition : Perfect
The brilliantly enamelled peach decoration on this bowl is absolutely superb and the fact that this bowl bears a rare iron red Shengdetang mark is an additional enhancement concerning the importance of this Famille Rose decorated bowl.
