SOLD ! Thanks to California !

Very interesting, bowl. Porcelaneous grey stoneware with a underglaze red decoration under a greenish colour fine crackled glaze. I am not very familiar with korean resp. japanese ceramics - I never before have seen a piece like this, but I know, how to look at a piece of porcelain resp. stoneware - this piece is genuine. It also has a " provinience " - it comes from a native Dayak family - very far from the interior of Kalimantan, Borneo. Diameter : 16,3 cm. Perfect condition ! ( ...click for details

SOLD ! Thanks to Denmark !

Excavated in Kalimantan, Borneo. The piece is small, like most of the Song Geyao items, the shape is like Song, the glaze is like Song, but the clay ( porcelaneous ) looks different, and so unfortunately I have to be confident, that it must be a 18th century piece. What is confusing, is, that the piece was excavated together with some broken, ordinary Song pieces, and that there have not been found any other Qing material at this lokation. The piece is very nice, and in a perfect condition. D ...click for details

Euro 450

This piece shows a well known motiv of a Han dynasty story-teller with a drum. The piece is old ( excavated ), but I am confident, that it is not from the Han Dynasty, because I never have seen a glaze like this among Han items. It could be anything - the clay ( stoneware ) is a littlebit like Song, but it also could be a Qing dynasty piece with a Han motive. Unfortunately I am not so familiar with pieces like this - like we all I do know the motive from Han dynasty pieces, but thats all - I ...click for details

Extremely nice Ming Chenghua ( 1465 - 87 ) Minyao ( peoplesware ) blue and white bowl. Amazing, typical Chenghua waterplant decoration with cranes. The blue is the for Chenghua typical watery blue - the silky glaze is also typical for Chenghua. The experianced collectors will agree, when I say : You must look many hundreds of ordinary and broken pieces, to find a piece like this. To all them, who cannot believe this : Please show me a better or more important Minyao piece - if you can ! ...click for details
