This porcelain bowl is a little bit smaller but the decoration quite similar to the bowl ( item # 1101566, Lot # 353 ) listed before.
Korea, Choson ( Joeson ) period, probably 19th. century.

The intriguing underglaze blue and white " bird " resp. " chicken " decoration of this large bowl might be able to fascinate every Picasso lover. Korean Choson ( Joeson ) period, probably 19th century.

Condition : A lot of signs of wear in the glaze, but in perfect condition.
Ming Dynasty Chenghua Period ( 1465 - 1487) Jingdezhen ware.
Diameter : 6,1 cm. H : 4,3 cm.
Condition : One piece perfect, the other one has a very minute chip to the outside of the rim ( which is to see on the last image )
This Ge glazed dish is at least from the early Qing Dynasty but most probably the piece is older. Please compare the shape and the unglazed base of the piece with similar Ge glazed pieces from the early Ming and the Yuan Dynasty. There was an interesting discussion concerning this topic last year at Gotheborg forum.

It is the very convincing written Chenghua mark which immediately is notable ! Superbly potted, superb silky glaze, superbly executed underglaze blue decoration in combination with overglaze enamel decoration. ( Wucai )

It is the very nice and rare " Bulb Bowl " form that makes this small bowl to a very special Southern Song - Yuan period Longquan ware Celadon bowl and an additional bonus is the nice "Guan" crackled glaze that covers the body. A nice potted Song Dynasty Henan ware pot and a definitely wonderful glaze.
This very decorative piece comes from resp. was in use in an old temple in Klungkung, east Bali. The inscription to the unglazed base of the piece could be associated with this provenance.
