Please see an absolute identical vase in the Art Gallery NSW dated to the Song Dynasty ( 960 - 1279 ) : ( http://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/work/EC73.1962/ ). A 13/14th century vase with a very interesting glaze. The glaze of this vase looks very similar to the glaze of a vase offered by a reputable Taiwanese gallery and described as " Guan ware, Southern Song Dynasty " ( please see the last enlargement )

An extremely rare perfectly potted teabowl ( Temmoku ) with a most decorative partridge-feather mottle decoration. The partridge-feather mottles nearly look like oil-spots.

This Ge glazed dish is at least from the early Qing Dynasty but most probably the piece is older. Please compare the shape and the unglazed base of the piece with similar Ge glazed pieces from the early Ming and the Yuan Dynasty. There was an interesting discussion concerning this topic last year at Gotheborg forum.
