Well potted double gourd shaped body with a flat base covered with a nice evenly, smooth copper red glaze.
Qing Dynasty, in all probability 19th. century or maybe even later.

A lovely and very decorative pair of Celadon glazed vases with a very nice molded floral decoration. Nice colour of the Celadon glaze.
Longquan ware, Yuan Dynasty. ( Please compare the vases with the vases shown at GG - Art, Yuan page 40 )
Provenance : Old German collecion. There are remains of a old paper sticker to the base of one of the pieces.

Condition : Very nice condition. One piece has a single insignificant firing crack to the glaze ( not to the body )
A excellent potted shape, a excellent glaze and Cobalt blue, a excellent execution of the decoration - this dish is definitely done in an Imperial quality.
Ming Chenghua mark but Qing Dynasty, probably of the Kangxi Period ( 1662 - 1722 )
There are also Daoguang dishes with a quite similar Dragon design but if this piece would be a Daoguang dish it most probably would bear a Daoguang mark.

A very nice graviata ground ( incised ) enameled porcelain dish.
Qianlong mark ( 1735 - 1796 ) and of the period.

Condition : Perfect ( no crack, no chip with a nice sound when tapped )
The decoration of a Dragon is at all rare to find on Ming Dynasty Minyao blue and white pieces. Still much rarer to find is such a Dragon bowl in a large and perfect condition like it is this bowl. Ming Jiajing period ( 1522 - 1566 )
Diameter : 17,9 cm.
Condition : Perfect - there is just some very minute glaze fritting to the rim, but this is without a magnifying glass nearly invisible and absolutely normal for pieces of that period.
Superb potted by Yixing artist Jiang Qinfen and signed 3 times ( 2 x to the inside of the lid and 1 x to the underside of the handle ) all the marks are visible on the enlargements.

Condition: Perfect
A " textbook " early Ming Longquan charger with a carved decoration. Originally with a extremely nice and thick Celaon glaze. The glaze is so thick that it nearly fills out the recesses of the carved decotation to the center of the piece.
Unfortunately there is some wear to the actually outstanding good glaze. Otherwise the piece is in a perfect condition.
Ming Dynasty, 15th century.
Diameter 27,2 cm.
This censer is noticeable by its absolutely very well done, perfect shape of the body. By the particularly warm golden colour of the alloy, and by the additional decor ( with some calligraphy ) to the inside of the piece. The surface of the piece nearly appears like gilded. Unforunately why ever the images are not able to show this.
Ming Xuande mark to the base of the piece.

The best ever seen Guandong ( South China ) Shiwan ware dish. Seventeenth Century.
Shiwan pieces like this try to imitate the famous glazes of the Song Dynasty ( mostly the glazes of Jun or Jizhou pieces ). In the case of this dish is it legitim to state that the superb glaze of this dish the beauty of the Song model even exceeds.

A absolute " MUST " for any high level Shiwan collection.
