A very nice thinly potted porcelain dish. The underglaze decoration drawn by using a very nice cobalt blue shows a motive that is typical for the Chenghua period.

Ming Dynasty birdīs cups from the Jiajing resp. Wanli period are quite common but birdīs cups from the Chenghua period like this cup are a real rarity.
