Jar of globular form with a short cylindrical lipped neck and two horizontal lugs on the shoulder. The body is divided into four panels by vertical lines of applied studs, alternate panels being decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue with a chrysanthemum spray. Porcelain body covered with a transparent glaze stopping short of the foot. Flat base unglazed. H : 7,7 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty, fourteenth century.
