19th century/Meiji period Satsuma ceramic bowl with scalloped edge decorated on the inside with all 18 rakan (original disciples of the Buddha) in different surroundings and attitudes, some holding their attributes, and a fierce undulating dragon in flight. Did not photograph well - came out very harsh, actual painting is very delicate.
