12th century Khmer bronze statue of dancing Gandharva from Cambodia. Gandharvas in Hinduism are male nature spirits and husbands of Apsaras. They are gifted with song and dance, proficient as warriors and make beautiful music in the palaces of the gods. Excellent casting and detailing - see his face, elegantly bent hands and elaborate headdress. Beautiful patina and wear, overall in superb condition. . Fixed on a wooden stand. Height of the statue 4 3/4 inches, height with stand 6 1/4 inches.

12th century Khmer bronze statue of standing 4-armed Vishnu from Cambodia. The implements in his upper hands are a conch shell and a wheel. Excellent casting and detailing - see his face with expression of quiet concentration, elaborate jewelry, loin cloth and butterfly shaped fitting on the back.
