Pair of late 19th century Japanese silvered bronze okimono / scroll weights cast in a form of two of the 7 Gods of Good Fortune: Daikoku with his mallet standing on 2 bales of rice, and Ebisu seated on rockery and holding a large sea brim under his arm. Nice modeling, good smiling faces, wonderful warm patina, some wear to silvering, pleasantly heavy. Nice little objects for scholar’s table, overall in great condition. Height 4 5/8 inches.
