19th century Chinese export silver open salt in a shape of a bamboo section with low relief sprays of bamboo on the sides and glass insert. Excellent crisp work, in very good condition, hallmarked with 2 stamps on the bottom - one with Chinese characters, and the other one with letters HC. Wonderful old piece in great condition. Height 1 3/8 inches.
Pair of 19th century Chinese export silver open salt and pepper shaker, each on 3 makara (mythical dragon-fish) shaped feet, and engraved with bamboo leaves on punched ground, all under a key fret border. Excellent crisp work, hallmarked with Chinese stamp on the bottom of the salt. Pepper shaker height 1 15/16 inches.
19th century (may be earlier) Chinese bronze waterdropper (vessel for diluting ink used in painting and calligraphy) in a form of a resting boy holding a lotus pod on stalk in his hand. Very nice casting and chiseling of details, pleasant weight, 2 spouts for filling and dispensing water on the top, beautiful patina. Wonderful object for scholars table. Length 2 1/4 inches.
