| 19th (can be as early as 18th) century Chinese bronze seal with rectangular base and turned top. Unusually constructed - the very base is copper, the upper part of the base and top are bronze, very good casting and chiseling, beautiful patina on the surface. Deeply carved characters on the base, traces of red seal paste in the grooves. Very pleasant to the touch, wonderful piece for scholar’s table. Height 1 5/16 inches, base 9/16 inches square. | ||
