A Chinese wooden box with brass strapping, handle and lock plate. The base wood appears to be tieli wood and this has been covered with huanghuali veneer wood. The box measures about 6 3/4" wide x 5 1/2" deep x 4 1/4" high. Condition: The condition is good. There is a chip to the veneer on one corner, some veneer strips are missing on the underside of the lid.
