ettore cadorin (1872-1952), a native of venice italy, immigrated to the united states during world war I. ettore lectured on methods of protecting art from the ravages of war. ettore moved to santa barbara in 1925, he taught drawing and sculpture at the state teachers college, which later became u.c. santa barbara. among his best known works are the fountain and sculpture at the santa barbara county court house. the dimension of the watercolour appr 8"x14" signed by the artist.
