Sketch on Crested Paper. This sketch accompanies a letter from J. Dickinson Logan to William Wister of 407 Walnut Street Philadelphia, written 25 February 1867. The letterhead also bears the same crest with 'L' and location 'Summerville' at the top. Also from the same Wister Collection, a letter from C. O. Toned overall with a stain extending from the upper corner to the top left edge of the bust; there is another diagonal crease in the same corner which does not affect the image. Sheet measures 21 5/8" x 17 1/4;" matting is 28" x 22."

Drawing is signed "Nalbandian," and measures 14" x 11." There is a toned outline in and around the drawing itself, and the top right-hand corner is bent.
