The page is worn and lightly soiled with wrinkles and a 2 1/4" separation on the plate mark in the upper left-hand corner, and two tears in the right-hand margin which have been stabilized by archival filmoplast tape. The entire sheet is bordered on the reverse by brown paper tape. Sheet measures 20 1/4" x 16 1/2;" matting is 21" x 16 3/4."
Original Watercolor, Signed 'O Carlandi' ca. 1910. The sheet has been glued at the edges to a cardboard backer sheet with a mat-mark line 1/2" in and around the perimeter. The sheet measures 24 1/2" x 17 1/4;" matting is 31 1/2" x 23."
Stipple Engraving after Murrillos, 1793. Toned overall with a few small tears in the margins. Sheet measures 14 5/8" x 11 3/4;" plate mark is 13 3/8" x 10 3/8."
After Gabriel Spitzel, ca. 1740. Trimmed to 1/4" margins outside plate mark with some rubbing in the lower right legend area. There are three pin-size worm holes along the upper frame and on the plate mark, and another hole in the legend area. Sheet measures 14 1/4" x 10 1/2."
Crayon Manner Etching after Francois Boucher. Plate 138; trimmed to plate mark and re-margined with laid paper; very slight foxing. Plate mark measures 7" x 9;" sheet is 11 1/2" x 14;" matting is 15" x 20."
Stipple Engraving after Pierre Paul Prudhon, published by C. M. Lean, 1828. Engraving is on laid paper and toned overall. There is a 2" x 3/4" stain on the margin edge in the upper right-hand corner which does not affect the image. The sheet measures 15 1/2" x 12;" plate mark is 12 1/2" x 9 1/2."
Engraving after Canot, ca. 1760. The page is soiled with a side-to-side horizontal crease in the lower center and a diagonal crease in the upper right-hand corner. Sheet measures 16 1/4" x 11 1/8;" plate mark is 15 1/2" x 10 3/4."
Etching, signed and dated 1884 in plate. Very clean overall, on laid paper with 'MBM' watermark. Sheet measures 9 3/4" x 13 3/4;" plate mark is 6 3/8" x 9 3/8."
