Vintage Japanese Kimono Fabric, Playing Boys

Look at these cute boys playing within decorated medallions, surrounded by toys and fans. There are also white sandbars with waves and geometric motifs. This vintage Japanese kimono silk has a red stencil dyed ground with details dyed in red, yellow, green, pink, blue, black and white. Fun and beautiful! This wonderful vintage Japanese hand-dyed textile can be used to create art for wear or décor.

Age: Showa era (1926-1989).

Material: 100% silk. Silk: Very light weight, smooth.

Condition: Excellent; no holes or spots. Source: Bolt of unused vintage Japanese kimono material.
