Four piece sterling tea set made by and marked Bailey, Banks, and Biddle.Bought new in 1929 by a Florida family this set has been in storage for the last 30 years.All pieces fully matching and marked. Teapot is 9.5"h x 10.5"l.Monogrammed in script.Total weight of the set is 54 ounces. Excellent overall condition.
Sterling chocolate pot hallmark dated 1903.Measures 6.5" high. Lid and body bear stamp of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, London. the base reads Goldsmith & Silversmiths, 112 Regent St. Fine conditon excepting a slight base warp but it lies flat on a table. Weighs 12 ounces.
c.1870. Possibly by John Randall Judson, the father of California painter William Lees Judson. In original gilted basewood frame. Found in a lodge in Syracuse NY.Excellent condition. Overall = 60"high x 49"wide.
c.1929. Entitled "Ville Franche"(between Monte Carlo and Nice). Signed lower left and dated 1929. Modern frame and matting. Under glass. Artist was pupil of Constant and Laurens. Listed in "Who Was Who In American Art" and other references. Sight=19.5"h x 14.25"w.Minor roughness to frame, otherwise excellent condition.
c.1880. Beautifully executed with contrasting inlays of many exotic woods. Has flip top with original interior baize surrounded by rosewood veneer. The top opens and swivels to form the playing surface and the drawer opens to a backgammon board. Slight warp to flip top and minor wood chips,inlay repair on top, all consistent with age. 38"high x 28"wide x 20.75"deep.
Rare cupboard c.1680-1700. Wrought iron hardware. Corresponding features on each stacking section. Old, partially original finish and a fine,mellow patina. Small repairs spanning over 200 years.Shoe footed(one shoe probably a replacement). Excellent condition. 36.5"w x 83"h x 22.5".
c. 1896. Entitled "B.Bernardinus Realini S.J." In magnificent original frame. Professionally cleaned. He painted numerous portraits of famous people and England's Queen Victoria bought several of his works.Fine condition. Sight=70"high x 55"wide.
c.1891. In original gilted frames augmented AD Shattucks metal keys and stencil mark of F.W. Devoe. Loveridge spent most of his life in Brooklyn, NY. Each painting is signed and dated. Works sold at Sotheby's, Christie's and elsewhere. Small puncture repair to one painting, otherwise excellent condition. Sight=10" x 12"
