Featuring a fine, rare, adorable antique French Quimper art pottery covered jar, or pot de creme with a very early Quimper mark for Henriot Quimper, AR H. Fine fruit finial on lid. Molded rings on either side of jar. Lovely hand painted yellow, blue and green flowers/colors. Very good condition with 2 minor glaze chips on cover(one under the rim) and 4 on the base top rim. Featuring one of the prettiest patterns, if not the prettiest in Haviland China, Schleiger # 72, on a beautiful demitasse cup and saucer. The cup measures 2 1/4" high and the cup opening measures 2". Oversized French faience Luneville-St. Clement coffee cup and saucer with charming French architectural scenes and sponged trees all hand painted. Decoration on plate and cup rims with typical blue diamond boarders. Signed "France" on undersides of both pieces. Very rare and beautiful, this Galle platter is just about the most beautiful piece of perfect French faience I have ever seen or had the opportunity to offer. The fact that it is Galle makes it even more desirable. It measures 16 1/2" long X almost 12" wide. The song birds on the branch and bouquets of various flowers are exquisitely portrayed.
