A Japanese napkin ring with transparent enamel over silver foil dating to the late 19th century. With 8 stylized cranes made with silver wires and various shading. Very well done. Featuring a wonderful Japanese porcelain plate made by Fukagawa in the late 19th century. The scalloped 6 1/4" plate with the 24 petaled kikumon design is fairly rare. At least six different patterns alternate in blue, orange, white and much gold. 2 blue rims surround the foot rim on the underside and the Fukagawas signature mark, a blue underglaze Mt.
