A Chinese porcelain blue and white snuff bottle signed with the Chien Lung mark, but probably dating to the mid 19th century. Decorated with scenes of high ranking official under canopy with attendants and military. Tells a story since there is a cloud like design coming from the leader's head to the attendant before him(like a cartoon drawing when the words come from the head of a person). Beautiful medium size Chinese rose Mandarin teapot with excellent art work and soft golds dating 1736-1795, the Qianlong period. The teapot measures 5 1/4" high, approximately 5" in diameter, and about 7 3/4" from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. 19th century Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with biscuit type finish with 18 wise men depicted, hand painted. Chien Lung mark on base. Old ivory top and ivory spoon. Measures 3 1/4" high, 2 1/4" wide and about 1 1/2" deep. This bottle came out of a local estate of a knowledgeable collector where the bottle resided for decades.The collector belonged to the Antique Appraisers Association of America and was discriminating in his taste.
