Fred Ladwig of Rochester New York, had an interesting career as an artist, working in different media: photography, collage, and paint. Born 1913, died 1995 at the age of 82, he was a good friend of the founder of the Memorial Art Gallery, James Sibley Watson. Fred was known for his talent, intellect, and unique ideas. A handsome, aristocratic gentleman, probably American, very finely executed, watercolor painting on ivory, dating to the early 20th century.
