Antique Japanese Wireless Cloisonne Enamel Vase Egret

Featuring a fine quality antique Japanese musen jippo, or wireless, cloisonne vase with white egrets. Subtle shading which shades from lighter blue near top to a wonderful robins egg deeper blue near the base and around the 9 snowy white egrets in various poses, all different, some with fine gray shading on the birds, and others with fine blue shading definition between the birds. Their beaks and eyes contain wires.The birds have individual expressions/personalities. This wireless technique was one of the many creative and unique innovations that the Japanese introduced into their cloisonne work during the Meiji era. Dates circa 1900. Measures a hair over 3.5" high x 3.25" wide. Excellent condition, but with a small dent on the top brass rim, hardly noticeable. No other damages, restorations, chips, dings, problems. Signed with impressed crossed flags. This may be the mark for the Gonda company who did work for Ando, but it has not been confirmed. Return privilege providing item returned in sent condition within 3 days of receipt and the way it was packed/shipped. Sales tax charged if sold in NY state unless valid NY sales tax number provided with state form.
