| Featuring a high quality, fine, unusual antique Japanese studio porcelain sake set, consisting of a sake bottle and 2 sake cups. All hand painted in underglaze blue on thin porcelain with 7 Karako(little boys) chasing butterflies amongst pine trees and landscape. The shaded blue borders are the typical borders of Hirado ware, as is the motif with the karako. Signed, with Japanese characters, which may say, Hirado, Gosho, Date: 1860-1890. Dimensions: bottle, 4.5" tall x 2.5" wide at widest point. Sake cups on pedestal, 1 3/4" tall x 2" in diameter. Dates to the last half of the 19th century. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks, dings, damages or restorations. Return privilege, providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of receipt and the way it was packed if possible. Sales tax charged if sold in New York state, unless valid resale number and form provided. | ||
