Antique Japanese Ivory Netsuke Clams Crab c.1840
Featuring a charming early 19th century Japanese ivory netsuke depicting 3 clams clustered together with a crab peeking out from one. Very compact and feels nice when clasped in palm of hand. Excellent condition. Unsigned. No chips, damages or restorations. There are some lines that are found in older ivory and one inlaid eye in crab is missing the inlay. It is not noticeable unless looking under very high magnification. The patina is wonderful, and darkened from age and fondling or being worn. Dimensions: 1.5" long x 3/4" high x 1" deep. Satisfaction guaranteed or money back providing item returned in sent condition, within 3 days of receipt, and the way it was packed if possible. Sales tax charged if sold in New York state unless valid resale number and form provided.
