| Fred Ladwig of Rochester New York, had an interesting career as an artist, working in different media: photography, collage, and paint. Born 1913, died 1995 at the age of 82, he was a good friend of the founder of the Memorial Art Gallery, James Sibley Watson. Fred was known for his talent, intellect, and unique ideas. The photographed flier testifies to his far reaching career outside of the Rochester area with a review in the New York Times and New York Herald Tribune. He won several local awards at competitions. There is great local interest in Ladwig and there have been at least 2 local shows of his works after his death. More information is available if of interest. This small collage has 4 different juxtapositions of automobiles in an interesting design and measures 2 1/2" x 2" without mat.It is signed F. Ladwig with date 68(1968). Excellent condition. Return privilege providing item returned shortly after having been received and in sent condition with original packing material. Postage/insurance extra.
