| WONDERFUL 18th to early 19th Century piece - overall about 2 X 1 7/16 inches - the frame is bright yellow 14K gold wit a stripe of black enamel - the intaglio is in stripped agate - a naked man draped with a long piece of fabric sitting on a tree stump -- he is looking at a helmet and holding a wreath above his head -- maybe a memento of a victorious battle -- the man has negroid features -- the frame has a loop to hang as a pendant --the condition is superb - this size and quality doesn't show up very often - please check the photos and feel free to email questions | ||
