| LOVELY, SIMPLE MODERNIST DESIGN FROM FINLAND -- this simple clean design pendant is on an equally simple silver chain - the chain is 24 inches long and has Finnish hallmarks - the pendant is a star or snowflake design with 5 silver arms and 5 9mm cabachons -- the stones are a little curious - they look like gray moonstones with some color movement BUT ( there is always a but) they MAY be extra clear gray chalcedony -- the color can best be described as CLAMBROTH that is a transluscent gray blue with movement as the stone is turned -- The effect of the shimmering gray blue with the shiny silver gray is an interesting and effective study in color and light - the pendant itself is about 1 1/4 X 1 1/4 inches -- fully hallmarked for KAUNIS KORU -- makers mark is RK -- date is 1963 -- please check the photos | |
