This is an Unusual 800/1000 FINE SILVER SALT CELLAR from a Virginia, U.S.A. Estate. Made with a "Beast of Burden Motif" this DONKEY is carrying Two OPEN SALT Containers shaped as SADDLE BAGS. The size overall is 2"W X 3 1/16 L" X 1 3/4" Tall. Both Containers are marked on the interior bottom: 800. One Spoon found with this item and included. Likely of EUROPEAN origin. Date this Unusual SILVER piece ca. 1900- 1925 in EXCELLENT Condition
