The snuff bottle is in a moon flask shape with a footrim and a recessed base. One side of the snuff bottle show the pinkish flower of the lotus and on the other side it shows the large green leaf of the lotu's flower. On each side of the snuff bottle, there is a butterfly. On the side of the snuff bottle, the stem of the lotus flower is being tied up in a bundle witha blue and pink ribbon. The base of the snuff bottle bears the mark and period of Tongzhi (1826-1874) Some wear to the enamel, no repair, chip or restoration. Generally in good condition. The height of the snuff bottle is 5.3cm and the width is 4.7cm. |
