This is a pair of famille rose in pastel colour and floral design tea-cup. The inside of each tea-cup has a slightly flared top and has a barbed shape rim surrounded by an intricately designed inter-connecting miniature iron red colour ruyi head. The outside of the cup is decorated with two peaches and flowers, followed by a lotus plant with a small white crane standing on one of the stem, followed by the peony and prunus flowers, and followed finally by a pheasant standing on a peony flower stem. The base of the tea cup bears the Tongzhi (1862-1874) reign mark in over glaze iron red colour. Can be dated to between late 19th /20th century.

The pair of teacups is in good condition. There is no hairline crack, rim or foot fritting. There are also no damage nor restoration. There is however a little sprinkle of minute dark spots in some small areas on the inside, outside and base of the cup (see picture 5).

The measurement of the tea cup: Diameter is 8.1cm and the Height is 5.1cm.
