This is a very beautiful cylindrical body brush pot painted with varied scenery in famille rose palette with a continuous scene of lakeside landscape of distance pavilion, walled monastery and tea house scattered amidst tress and layered mountains in various shade of blue and green and red with texture stroke and with high peaks in the distance.

There are people walking about and in the tea house set in a tranquil and peaceful lake side and mountain village atmosphere. On the lake with peaceful and calm rippling water amidst the light grey mist (picture 4), two small boats with fishermen are doing their fishing. Inside of the brush pot, it is just plain white glaze. The base of the brush pot bears the six-character reign mark of Emperor Guangxu (1875-1908), Qing Dynasty, in over-glaze copper red and it is of the period.

There is only one small chip as shown in picture 3 and some minor pin holes. Other than that, it is in very good condition.

The dimension of the brush pot: The thickness is 1.9cm, height is 16.8cm and diameter is 20.8cm.
