Paste jewelry has become highly prized and collected as this form of jewelry has become more and more appreciated. This beautiful pin is designed with blue paste simulating sapphire and clear paste, diamonds. The blue color is reminiscent of a cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire. The diamonds are clear and bright. The pin closes with an original 'c' clasp and silver pin stem; and measures 7/8" by 3/4". Condition is very good. Circa 1880
