Hand painted ivory surrounded by beautiful cannetille work which embellishes the 3 plaques of this rare and exquisite Anglo Indian necklace. The central plaque is a painting of the Taj Mahal; the 2 remaining are of unknown origin to me. A special collector's piece, the 16 1/2" necklace is marked 585 on the clasp, 18kt on the reverse of each plaque and is in excellent condition.
