Lika Behar was born in Istanbul and has lived in New York since the 1980s. The inspiration for her jewels is the contrast of the ancient and modern of country. Her original collection in 24k yellow gold showcases her passion for the ancient traditions of jewelry making as each piece is uniquely hand crafted. In recent years she began working with sterling silver accented with colored stones that are reminiscent of the blue waters that surround her birth country. These lovely drop earrings are handmade in sterling silver with a round blue topaz on the top and a rectangular white topaz drop.
