This is a well done bronze by Max Turner, a well known sculptor that is still active. The bronze is of Paul Revere on his midnight ride. The bronze is on a marble base. Including the base, the dimensions are 24 ½ inches long, 19 inches high, and 10 ½ inches deep. The workmanship is very crisp with good detail. The piece is signed by Turner with the date 1989. This figurine is a pair of foxes facing opposite directions. It is 11 inches long and 7 inches tall. The mark is faded but it is in green with a lion and either dates from the 1930’s or the 1950’s. It has a written signature on the bottom that I can not make out but it looks like Tuchsup or something similar. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This porcelain figure is 10 inches long and 5 inches tall. It is of a tiger drinking. This figure was designed by Herman Geibel in 1927. Based on the US Zone mark on the bottom, this one was produced in the late 1940’s. There is a Rosenthal mark on the bottom and the letters HG on the bottom of one of the paws. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This wonderful art nouveau charger is 11 ½ inches in diameter. It is a brownish color with gilding around the edge and in the center. Painted in the middle is the face of a beautiful lady in the style of Sarah Bernhardt by Alphonse Mucha. There is decoration of acorns and lives around the plate. These fantastic peking glass vases are 12 inches tall. The turquoise color will really make these show pieces stand out. The glass is two layer and has been cut by hand to make facets all the way around the vases. These are hard for me to date. I have seen some described as 19th or early 20th century and some as 18th – 19th century. I really do not know but what I do know is these are fantastic and very unique pieces. This is for a pair of carved marble dragons. The dragons are 19 inches long, 11 ½ inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide at the widest point. They are nicely aged and we date them to 1900. There are a couple of places on the horns where repairs have been made otherwise in very good condition.

This full size violin is 23.5 inches long and 8 ½ inches wide. The body is 14 inches long. The violin appears to be in good shape with everything original except one peg. All parts appear to be tight. There are a couple of tiny chips on the front. Inside the violin there is a label that reads “Made exclusively for First National Institute of Allied Arts of America. These parrots dark blue and have a wonderful patina to them as you would expect from them being handled over the years. They are 8 ½ inches tall. They are from Qing dynasty, we believe around 1850 though they may be earlier. There is one area where there is a crack that may have happened in firing. It is about an inch long.
