These iron sconces are well done with decoration that would have been typical of the aesthetic period. They are decorated with a bird among some reeds at the top as well as one towards the bottom. These have their original gold paint. The sconces are 12 ¼ inches tall and 6 7/8 inches wide. They have a platform that comes out 6 1/4 inches that would be great for displaying heavy items. This tilt top table is 30 ¼ inches high and the top is 25 ¼ inches across. It has very detailed marquetry work with much of the work being done with very small pieces. The workmanship is very good. When the top is tilted, a box can be seen underneath. The box is 12 3/8 inches across, 12 3/8 inches deep and 4 ¼ inches high. It has felt on the top of what would have been used as a writing slope. This bronze door knocker is 6 5/8 inches tall by 4 inches wide. It has a heavy patina on it and white reside where it has been polished. It has a date stamped in the bottom of 1860. There is a good bit of green on the front side due to age and being outside. There is also a good bit of wear due to use. The wing on the right side has had the edge cracked off. There has been about one-quarter of an inch broken off.

This serving cabinet is 89 inches high to the top of the carving. It is 79 inches to the top rail. It is 49 inches across and 19 inches deep. The piece is heavily carved throughout. This pair of sconces is made of impressed thin metal. The metal is either tin or bronze. The sconces are in the shape of a large spade and are very unique. There is a sunflower pattern done in repousse on each piece. The metal is on a frame that looks like it is riveted. These have been recently wired and are ready for use with a bulb. This wonderful walnut shaving stand is in a Rococo revival style and was produced during the height of the Victorian period. It stands 70 inches to the top of the mirror. The case with the drawer is 17 inches across and 12 inches deep. The top of the case is 41 ¼ inches from the floor. The drawer is a nice dovetailed construction. This very impressive piece is typical of the best products produced in New York in the 1860’s and 1870’s. This marble top dresser is constructed of walnut and has burl walnut veneer used on all of the drawer fronts and above and below the mirror. The piece will stand out in any room and is 104 inches tall. It is 50 ½ inches across and 25 ½ inches deep. From the floor to the marble top is 33 ½ inches. This wonderful tantalus is in a burl walnut box with a row of inlay around each edge. The box itself is trimmed on each edge with a metal trim which is probably bronze. The box is has a serpentine front edge. The top has some inlaid metal and mother of pearl. The box itself is 13 5/8 inches wide, 10 ¼ inches deep and 10 ¾ inches high. This tea caddy is in a rectangular shape and is 10 inches long, 5 inches wide and 5 inches high. It has inlaid metal throughout. Each of the storage sections is covered. We would date this to the mid 19th century. There is quite a bit of the metal inlay missing. The metal trim on the back is also loose. It is still a very nice and decorative piece.
