SOLD 

This is for a set of 10 plates made by Davenport. They are in an Imari pattern and are 8 7/8 inches in diameter. They have gold trim around the inside edges and the letter J and N on the center. There is an impressed mark of Davenport on the back and a back stamp of Richard Briggs Boston. Some of the plates have the number 2148 written on the back. The plates have some gold wear and fork marks but no chips, cracks or repairs.

This beautiful hand painted dresser jar is 8 ¾ inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide at the largest point. The jar has a light pink coloration and has flowers hand painted on it. There is gilding on the handle and three stripes of gilding. The piece was made by Hutschenreuther in circa 1960. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.

This small kerosene lamp has a base that is made of quilted satin glass. The burner is made of bronze. The base is 4 ½ inches tall and it is 10 ½ inches to the top of the flute. The knob on the burner has a couple of crossed torches and says Paris on a banner. Circa 1900 The base and flute are in excellent shape. The place in the burner where the fuse is raised has some damage to it as can be seen in the pictures. The knob will not move the fuse.

This bowl is wonderfully decorated with floral patterns. The bowl itself is molded with a rococo type look. It is 10 ½ inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. It is marked with the gold steeple S & T mark. It dates to the 1870’s to 1880’s period. There are no chips, cracks or repairs.

This mortar and pestle is porcelain and has much of its original gilding on it. The bowl is 5 inches in diameter and 2 7/8 inches tall. It has very thick walls and is of a good quality. It is signed on the bottom Made in France and has a crown and N mark. We date this to the early 20th century. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There is wear to the gilding as can be seen in the pictures.

SOLD 

This large floor vase is hand painted in blue and white with nature scenes such as birds and flowers. The vase is 22 ¾ inches tall, 12 inches in diameter at the largest point and 9 ½ inches in diameter at the top. It is pretty thickly potted and we date it to circa 1900. There is a firing crack on the bottom that does not go through to the inside, otherwise in excellent condition.

This mid ninth century colored engraving is by Edwin Landseer. It is an original print from circa 1860. The print portrays a girl and her dog and is titles The Friends. It is framed in a Victorian period frame. The frame is approximately 15 ½ X 9 ½ inches and the print itself is 11 X 9 inches. The frame has a little bit of wear. The print is in very good condition.

SOLD 

This Japanese cloisonne vase is 9 ¾ inches tall and is on a bronze body. It has a floral decoration with colorful flowers in different shades or purple and yellow. The vase is unsigned. We date it to the Meiji period. The rim of the vase has been slightly dented. Underneath the rim on one side is an area where the foil and enameling has been damaged. The damage is about one-quarter of an inch.

This porcelain Fukagawa vase is 8 ½ inches tall. It is hand painted with a Peony and other floral decoration. It is signed with a mark used by Fukagawa. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
