This is for a set of 6 german engravings that are by Johann Michael Seligmann after G Edwards. These engravings are from an early German edition of George Edwards “A Natural History of Uncommon Birds, and of some other rare and undescribed animals”. The German name is Sammlung Verschiedener Auslaendisher und Seltener Vogel from 1749. The engravings are all framed and the frames are 16 ½ inches by 13 ¼ inches. This is a pretty scarce hand colored original lithograph by Currier and Ives. The print was produced in 1869. The print itself is 12 3/8 inches X 7 7/8 inches. It is in a period frame that is 21 ¼ inches X 14 ½ inches. The print has some tanning as well as some spots. No tears evident.

This is a print of a famous painting that was done by William Harnden Foster in 1909. The name of the work is Setting the Pace. It shows the 1910 Oldsmobile Limited Touring Car outrunning the New York Central twentieth century limited train. The print is on canvas and is 16 inches X 20 inches. The frame itself is 23 inches X 27 inches. I had read that this was reprinted and placed in Oldsmobile dealerships at some point, maybe in the 1960’s. This mid ninth century colored engraving is by Edwin Landseer. It is an original print from circa 1860. The print portrays a girl and her dog and is titles The Friends. It is framed in a Victorian period frame. The frame is approximately 15 ½ X 9 ½ inches and the print itself is 11 X 9 inches. The frame has a little bit of wear. The print is in very good condition.

This is a stone lithograph of the Jay’s Squirrel. It was hand colored by William E Hitchcock. It was drawn by John J Audubon and printed by J T Bowen of Philadelphia. This is 7 X 10 ¼ inches. This is from the Octavo Edition of the Quadrapeds of North America circa 1849 to 1854. This is no. 18, plate LXXXIX. This has been newly framed and matted in a rustic type frame. The lithograph has some very light tanning around the edges and a small stain on the outside right.
