Pair exquisite antique Asian marble dragons Antiques: Regional Art: Asian: Pre 1900 item# 807438

This is for a pair of carved marble dragons. The dragons are 19 inches long, 11 ½ inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide at the widest point. They are nicely aged and we date them to 1900. There are a couple of places on the horns where repairs have been made otherwise in very good condition.

This full size violin is 23.5 inches long and 8 ½ inches wide. The body is 14 inches long. The violin appears to be in good shape with everything original except one peg. All parts appear to be tight. There are a couple of tiny chips on the front. Inside the violin there is a label that reads “Made exclusively for First National Institute of Allied Arts of America. These parrots dark blue and have a wonderful patina to them as you would expect from them being handled over the years. They are 8 ½ inches tall. They are from Qing dynasty, we believe around 1850 though they may be earlier. There is one area where there is a crack that may have happened in firing. It is about an inch long.
