| This is a very large teak opium bed. It is elaborate with very detailed carving. It is peg construction. It has a top on it that can either be open with piercings or closed. There are many hand carved gilded panels around the bed. There is a shelf area on one side of it that has 2 larger cabinets and 2 smaller cabinets. The bed is 97” high, 101 ½” outside length, 84 inches on the inside length, 72 inches outside width and 67 inches inside width. The bed is antique and is likely Chinese. It is in very good condition. All parts are present and there is no breaks or other damage. There is some wear to the gilding. | ||
