Mane Katz technique bronze boy picking berries
This bronze portrays a boy sitting on the ground with a bucket and it looks like he is picking berries. The bronze is made in the technique that was reminiscent of the famous Israeli artist Mane Katz (1894-1962). The bronze is 6 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches across at the base. It is signed by the artist on the back and also has a foundry mark though I can not identify either mark. We are not sure about the age of this item but it does have some natural patination and we would estimate circa 1950. There is no damage. It is very heavy.
