Of Beehive shape with short waisted neck, the exterior lightly incised with three chilong roundels, covered in a peachbloom glaze of varying mottled pink. Antique Chinese stand made of hardwood - probably Tielimu or other kind of tropical hardwood. Nicely made and decorated with low-relief carved motifs. The top of the stand is inserted with a blue glazed porcelain plaque which decorated with lotus flower and other objects in cloisonne enamel. In my opinion, the stand was made sometimes in Qing Dynasty, but the porcelain plaque was older - it was probably from the late Ming Dynasty. Condition: Fair antique condition, heavy wear on the plaque, minor age cracks and chips to the wood; color touch-up on lotus flower. Please check photos for condition details. Dimensions: 16"L X 13"W X 5-3/4"H.
