A nicely carved Chinese nephrite pendant in a "Pixiu" shape. The nephrite is of very nice quality. There are some russet and dark intrusions mainly on one side of the pendant, this hints that the original material could be part of a jade pebble. We date the pendant to be early 20th century. It is in good condition with natural veins. Dimensions: 2-1/2"X2"X1/2".

A Chinese yellow and red nephrite lidded vase decorated with dragons and clouds, very well and thinly carved vase walls. There is a "Qianlong yuwan" mark and a "wenwan" mark on the neck of the vase, dated to late Qing Dynasty or early Republic period. There is an old 2mm shallow chip at the mouth and other very tinny frits on edges , please see enlargements for details. No other chip nor crack other than these. Height of the vase: approximately 9-3/4".
